What are Fossil Fuels?Fossil fuels are formed under the following conditions: decomposition of plants and animals combined with millions of years under high temperature and high pressure. Find out more below!
Where is the Fossil Fuels industry heading?Harnessing energy has been the engine for industrialization and commerce. Historically economics and politics have driven fossil fuel development and integration for power generation, heating and transportation. Modern economies are dependent upon fossil energy while emerging economies seek growth by a foundation of fossil fuel(s) for these sectors. Unfortunately the lowest cost and quickest solution has often been the modus operandi to-date. Rush to market, knee-jerk legislation, and artificial subsidies collectively disservice technological innovation and ultimately society. Clean energy technologies need to be driven by long-range planning based on engineering analyses with consistent execution for sustainable impact. Underpinning such execution will be tiered research spanning fundamental science to applied engineering as the keys towards improved and innovative combustion technologies for fossil fuels."
